UPDATED (4:30 p.m.): Arlington County Police issued an all clear for the bomb threat that was being investigated in Crystal City, according to a post on Twitter. Employees began to return to their businesses and road closures will soon be lifted.

ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police are investigating the report of a bomb threat in the 3500 block of S. Clark Street, according to a 2:46 p.m. post on the department's official Twitter account.
In an 3:37 p.m. post on Twitter, police reported the bomb squad was at the location on S. Clark Street. The public was warned to stay clear of the area.
Out of an abundance of caution, police evacuated several businesses in the area. The public can expect a police presence in the area as they work to determine the credibility of the threat.
Metro also posted on Twitter that northbound buses on the Metroway-Potomac Yard Line were being detoured on Potomac Avenue at S. Glebe Road. The buses are resuming their regular route on Crystal City Transitway at 33rd Street.
