MAINTENANCE/HANDYMAN We are seeking a trustworthy and skilled handyman/maintenance person for weekly work (minimum 5 hrs weekly longterm, could be more) starting ASAP at a large property in the Verde Valley. Ideally seeking someone interested in a long term commitment to the property. Compensation will be negotiable based on skill set/experience. Task load will vary from week to week, however, we will commit to a set payment/number of hours per week regardless of task load in order to secure your time and availability. We are looking for someone who can take initiative in tending to the general upkeep and maintenance of the property as you become familiar with it. This is a large historic property, so there are inevitably several new tasks to be taken care of each week. There will be a wide variety of jobs to be tended to week to week depending on the property's needs, so willingness to take on lower skilled tasks as needed is a must. Work may include: Checking and replacing light bulbs and fixtures Painting work and touch ups Assembling/moving furniture, hanging artwork, light fixtures etc as needed Troubleshooting any issues with fixtures, plumbing issues etc within your scope of experience Sweeping outdoor patio areas Taking trash loads to the dump as needed Light/simple Electrical Cleaning drains Hauling items to dump Ability and willingness to oversee general maintenance and upkeep of the yard/patio areas would be ideal. Gardening experience is a huge plus. There may be more specific skilled work tasks available depending on your skill set and area of expertise.
