Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Makers and Video Game Education Meets Geek Entertainment The annual STEAM Festival brings a mix of the sci-fi technical and post-apocalyptic modernization genre to today's generation while maintaining a focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Makers education and video game development. This year we're accelerating STEAM forward with a look at Modern Inventions & Ideas! From Robotics and AI to Manufacturing and Design, From Science and Technology to Video Game Developments. We focus on S.T.E.A.M advancements and Electronic Entertainment that make your career or lifestyle easier, better, faster, and mentally positive. How is it made? What is the process? What are the pros and cons? And where is this new generation taking us in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Making, and Electronic careers? ABOUT STEAMFESTFounded in 2018 by Kat Mahoney, Owner /Visionary Director of TheGeekGrid Studios, and in partnership with ArtsQuest, the STEAM+Fest debuted on August 31st, 2019 . The festival featured a mix of STEAM Education and Steampunk culture. The event was hosted at the historical Bethlehem SteelStacks and provided S.T.E.A.M Education, Entertainment, and Creative Inspirations in a Steampunk theme.​ Today the “STEAM Festival” focuses on a mix of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Makers (STEAM) and Video Games around a post-modern industrial theme with varying sub-genres from Post-Apocolyptic, Steampunk, and Grunge. Our event promotes programs and interests in the STEAM and video game industries for families, digital educators, businesses, institutes, and everyone else interested in today’s modern culture and the historical evolution of STEAM! This event includes workshops, lesson seminars, educational panels, new innovations, demos, digital artists, makers, geek entertainment, cosplay, and more!
