HOBOKEN AND JERSEY CITY — NY Waterway resumed several downtown weekend ferry routes on Saturday from Hoboken and Jersey City to Lower Manhattan. The ferries run each Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. from the Paulus Hook (Jersey City) and Hoboken NJ Transit ferry terminals to Brookfield Place/Battery Park City. The ferries run every 30 minutes among the stops, with the first ferries departing Hoboken at 10 a.m. and Paulus Hook at 10:10 a.m. Last return ferry departs Brookfield Place at 8 p.m. NY Waterway runs numerous other routes from Hudson County to Manhattan. The routes that connect to the midtown terminals have buses to various Manhattan locations. See full schedules at nywaterway.com/weekends. The newest restoration marks another milestone for the region's recovery as more businesses reopen and more travelers return, the commuter ferry company said. "Downtown weekend service means riders will have fast, easy and safe transit service to Lower Manhattan's restaurants, shopping and destinations," Waterway noted.
