General Laborer Overview Description Under general supervision, perform a wide variety of skilled general labor work in construction and maintenance of multiple projects. Incumbents work independently according to accepted standards of the trade, supervisory direction and are expected to select appropriate tools, materials and approach to the work. Selects tools, equipment and materials required for the job; loads and unloads materials and equipment. Other Requirements: Must possess a valid California driver's license and have a satisfactory driving record; must be willing to work out of doors in varying weather conditions; must be physically capable of performing heavy physical labor, including lifting materials and equipment weighing up to 90 pounds. The job sites are in various areas of the the Bay Area. Requirements • Must have your own hand tools. *Must be available to start work immediately if hired. • Must be authorized to legally work in the United States. • Profound ability to communicate with clients and employees of the organization. • Highly skilled in transporting raw materials, finished products, and tools physically or by means of powered equipment. • Familiar with health and safety regulations, and able to recognize quality control methods.
