Light service job with driving, walking, occasional digging and wrenching. Certifications and other training given on the job - no licenses required upon hire except for drivers license. Perfect for people who like to work with their hands and to make a positive impact in keeping the public water supply safe. WILLING TO TRAIN THE RIGHT MOTIVATED PERSON Tests, repairs, and installs backflow devices and irrigation systems for customers throughout Western Washington. Occasionally performs other light service, such as removing broken backflow devices, preparing future sites of new installations, or winterizing irrigation systems. Responsibly and efficiently drives a company vehicle to and from job sites. Independently maintain trucks, keeping them clean, organized and stocked. Documents all backflow tests and repairs completely and accurately. Communicates effectively with manager, dispatcher and other technicians. Promotes customer satisfaction and company success by treating customers, contractors, and co-workers with respect and cooperation. Daily Responsibilities Demonstrates respect for company and customers by dressing professionally and appropriately Strives to complete each assigned task at scheduled date/time Responds proactively to job hurdles/complications by communicating with dispatcher and/or customer Performs testing and/or repairs accurately and thoroughly Treats customers respectfully and professionally at all times Delivers all on-site payments to admin by end of business day Additional Requirements Utilizes company vehicles only for company assignments Performs general maintenance and cleaning of company vehicle Demonstrates willingness to assist with additional work-related tasks such as picking up company mail, ordering supplies, repairing office fixtures, etc. Completes additional training and/or certification renewal when necessary Cooperates with coworkers and owner to complete team projects
