Residents around Los Angeles received a Wireless Emergency Alert Monday reminding them to get their COVID-19 vaccine. The alert reflects a dramatic reversal in which the vaccine went from being hard to get to hard to give out in Los Angeles County. To get more shots in arms this week:— most vaccination sites around the county are offering shots without an advance appointment;— vaccinations centers in the city of LA will stay open Monday through Saturday;— and Cal State Los Angeles will offer a drive-thru option.Banksy: Genius or Vandal? Art shows are back, and tickets for the unauthorized Banksy exhibition go on sale Tuesday at noon. Police in Burbank are warning people to watch out for two men who impersonated police officers to commit a violent carjacking over the weekend.
