Athena is cute yet shy 5 year old black Domestic Shorthair who is spayed and litter box trained. She is easily startled but loves to be petted and purrs as a result. She hardly meows and is very laid back. Athena tolerates getting momentarily picked up and will sit in your lap until she decides to explore or hang out in her favorite spot under the bed. She loves to explore at night and has bursts of kitten level energy. Athena will take a bit to come out of her shell, and as a result may have limited eating and drinking the first few days after adoption. She doesn't do well with change or other animals, but over time will probably adjust. She is a curious girl who loves treats and to play with toys, but on her own time. She is shy, loving, active, and will love to have the stability of a forever home where she can get comfortable and be loved. Every day I have her she comes out of her shell more and more!
