Farm Position Available (Class A CDL Driver/Full-Time Farm Equipment Operator/Mechanic) Nosotros hablamos espanol TRUCKING A tree farming operation based out of Chico is seeking a person with a Class A license for seasonal harvest work. This position will require work between the months of August through end of October. Position requires full dedication during these months, as it is the harvest season and the operation functions seven days a week. Weekly overtime hours and a possible end of season bonus depending on performance. Requirements: -Class A with doubles/triples endorsement -Clean background/driving record -Able to pass drug test -Must be safety conscious -Able to work in summer temperatures -Please no owner/operators *Starting wage is $23/hr DOE, 70+ hours per week, possible end of season bonus, English OR Spanish acceptable FARM EQUIPMENT OPERATOR In addition to seeking a seasonal harvest truck driver, the operation is also interested in hiring an employee with a Class A license who also has farm equipment experience. If a candidate with truck driving experience also has the ability to operate heavy equipment (e.g. orchard wheel tractors) or can use mechanical skills to repair/maintain equipment, the operation would be willing to hire as a full time position. If a candidate is looking for full time employment, the position would start immediately and require the following (including the aforementioned Class A requirements): -Able to operate tractors with various implements -Able to lift 50+ pounds -Able to work in hot and cold climates -Possess a strong work ethic and safety awareness -Ability to work varying shifts, weekends and extended hours during spring work and harvest as required by the operation *Starting wage $16/hr DOE, 45-60 hours per week during regular season, 70+ hours during harvest season, possible bonus, benefits including two weeks paid vacation. Available to start immediately if wanted. Hourly wage will increase during harvest season for truck drivers.
