Dark City Molds is a candy mold manufacturer based in East Asheville. We specialize in creating high quality, rapid extraction molds for infused candy production. We're looking for a self motivated, detail oriented independent contractor to assist our quickly growing company with our mold making processes. Job Responsibilities: Pouring, prepping, curing, and post processing a variety of stock and custom mold designs. Trimming, packaging and shipping orders. Following specific protocols as outlined in our systems documentation based on the particular volumes, geometries, and material types utilized. Documenting actions and progress by completing production and quality logs as well as managing workflow progress using online project management tools. Facilitating quality control inspections during and after manufacturing processes to prevent aesthetic errors and maximize daily yield. Maintaining safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. We've found people who have excelled in this job to have experience as Bartenders/Baristas/Bakers/Restaurant Work. If you have this background please let us know! We are hiring for full-time, part-time, and contract work for the month of June.
