MICHIGAN — Michigan added 5,035 new cases of the coronavirus and 29 additional deaths Monday, according to the most recent COVID-19 data released Monday by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. The new cases represent what has been reported in Michigan since Saturday, officials said. The updated figures bring the total number of COVID-19 cases in Michigan to 849,420 cases and 17,771 COVID-19 deaths.
