Michigan Unites for Mental Health Awareness In recognition of May being Mental Health Awareness Month, members of Michigan's Public Mental Health System are calling upon persons served, service providers, family members and allies, community partners, advocates, and elected officials to share inspirational messages that reflect Michigan's support of its citizens living with mental health or substance use disorders. Examples of the types of messages being requested include, but are not limited to: * Anti-stigma * Hope* Positive lived experiences* Protect and promote public mental health services* Recovery is possible Please use this link to submit your message using either a written statement, photo, or video. Your message will be grouped with others from across the State and shared during a Facebook Live event at https://www.facebook.com/OCHN1/ on Thursday, May 27th from 1 - 2 p.m. All messages must be received by noon on Friday, May 21, 2021.
