D&S Road Services is hiring Laborers and ATSSA Certified Flaggers for asphalt crack sealing in the Willow, Wasilla and Palmer areas. The job consists of preparing and sealing cracks in asphalt pavement. A large part of the work is managing traffic through a mobile traffic control zone that moves with the crack sealing equipment. Work is seasonal and weather-specific (dry and > 40° F). We provide safety training and flagger training if needed. You must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid Alaska Driver’s License. A current Class A Driver’s License and ATSSA Flagger Certificate with some crack sealing experience gives you a hiring advantage. For new hires, all positions on the crew have a training wage starting at $15/hr for the first 30 days. Depending on your performance, you can expect up to $20/hr with ample opportunity for overtime. We conduct interviews and initial classroom training at our Talkeetna home office. Additional training will be conducted in Wasilla.
