Do you need a setup on your guitar - new strings and intonation? I can do any guitar including Floyd Rose or other floating bridges. Brand news strings, pickup adjustments and ultra-precise intonation adjustments. I will do this for $30 while you wait if you come to me in Encinitas. Just bring the new set of strings you want me to put on your guitar. Do you have an effect pedal with no sound, a broken jack or a burnt-out LED? I can fix these. I have almost any pedal part required in my workshop and can probably repair it while you wait. If you are anywhere in the North County coastal region (north of the 52 and south of the 78) I can even pick up and return your pedal/instrument for a $10 driving fee. Do you want to make an old pedal compatible with your new standardized power supply? This can be done for almost any pedal, even older fuzz tones. We can switch diodes and look for new sounds for you, or help you assemble a pedalboard with maximum efficiency for your live playing needs. Basic guitar electronics: switch from 250k to 500k pots or change capacitor values. Install a classic oil & paper capacitor. Add a bypass switch to go from your pickup straight out to the amp. Or even install a powered boost circuit in your guitar so you don't need an overdrive pedal.
