The Isrealites are an institution in the world of ska and reggae music. The band has been together for 30 years with ten plus full length albums to date. We are currently looking for the following players to complete our current lineup: Drummer Trumpet Alto sax Backup singers/toasters We have rehearsals once a week at most. There will be both recording and touring (national and international) opportunities for the right people. We don't care what your age is as long as you are old enough to play in clubs (21+), and are easy to get along with. Jazz, funk, soul backgrounds are great. Some understanding of Jamaican music is preferred, but we can teach the right person.
