A local auto repair company is looking to hire a Lube Tech for their well-known shop. This eval-hire position, offers a Monday-Friday schedule (WEEKENDS OFF!!) and guarantees 46+ hours a week (OVERTIME!!). If you have a minimum of 6 months shop experience, have working knowledge of simple tune ups, vehicle inspections, light line, hoses, breaks, belts, etc., are looking for a career-minded position, offering advancement opportunities and FREE LUNCH daily, this position is for you! The pay for this position ranges from $15-17/hr. (depending upon experience). WHAT YOU HAVE TO LOOK FORWARD TO • Having weekends off! • Free lunch every day! • Guaranteed OVERTIME • Advancement opportunities KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Ensure customer satisfaction and retention with prompt, accurate, and professional services • Complete tasks in appropriate time frame or deadline • Ensure optimal engine performance and prevent premature engine wear by applying lubricants to the moving parts of vehicle engines • Prevent excessive tire wear by applying lubricant to wheel bearings • Thoroughly clean engines to prevent rust formation • Replace cabin, fuel, air, and oil filters as required • Perform tire rotations to ensure even tire wear • Perform thorough inspections of customers’ vehicles • Complete required documentation with accuracy • Use vehicle inspections to make recommendations for other necessary services REQUIREMENTS: • High school diploma or equivalent • Minimum of 6 months of shop experience • Basic understanding of auto mechanics • Knowledge of how to perform key responsibilities • Knowledge of vehicle inspections, light line, hoses, breaks, belts, simple tune-ups • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination • Detail-oriented • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills • Effective communication skills • Exceptional customer service skills
