A-1 Van Rental is seeking a responsible and hard-working person to join our team as a full-time or part-time Auto Detailer. Starting pay for this position is $13/hour, with the opportunity for advancement. We are located at 2217 E Washington St, Phoenix, AZ. Our office hours are Monday-Friday 8am-6pm and Saturday-Sunday 9am-5pm. We can be flexible with scheduling. Full-time employees are offered: Paid time off. Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance. Responsibilities Clean, vacuum, and sanitize vehicle interior - note that the majority of our vehicles are 12 and 15 passenger vans. Wash, clean and dry vehicle exterior. Check fuel level and warning lights: inspect windshield for damage; factory reset/restore vehicle setting to clear prior customer data; check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found; verify that registration and insurance card is present, current and matches the license plate. Check fluid levels and add as needed; check tire condition, pressure and tread depth; inspect vehicle exterior for damage Inspect vehicle for any safety concerns; report any warning lights and/or vehicle/windshield/tire damage. Drive vehicles short distances for refueling and to our maintenance location. Assist with vehicle pick-up and delivery. Assists customers when needed. May transport customers to Sky Harbor airport. Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions Helps maintain overall site appearance including general cleaning of interior and exteriors of location. Additional Responsibilities Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality. Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal setting Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old. Must have 6 months of prior work experience. Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years. No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past 3 years. Must be authorized to work in the United States.
