Suppliers, Designers, Consultants to the Food Service Industry 1111 Grand Ave, San Marcos, CA. 92078 Position Summary The Delivery & Warehouse Associate is responsible for delivering the customer’s order and fulfilling warehouse duties. This includes receiving and processing incoming deliveries, fill and process shipping orders, organizing warehouse inventory, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Position Responsibilities and Functions • Assist with receiving and outgoing shipments. * Verify delivery against shipping manifest and invoice. *Check items for any damage or areas of concern. • Mark incoming items with the correct company identification label and highlight specific job files as needed. • Neatly stock and store items in the correct location(s). • Fulfill order requests per company sales order. • Pack, seal, and adhere shipping labels on all outgoing orders. • Operate Company owned or leased machines/vehicles while meeting safety standards. • Load vehicles using forklifts, dollies, etc. in a safe and effective manner. • Completion of all required paperwork on a job site. • Notify supervisor upon completion of a delivery or give updates on any issues. • Preform other duties as assigned. Basic Skills and Requirements • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment. • Treat inventory, company owned/leased property with care. • Responsible for understanding and complying with company processes, procedures, and safety guidelines. • Professional phone and office etiquette and excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. • Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment. • Ability to multi-task, organize, prioritize, and complete work in a timely manner.
