Description

Perhaps. None of us have any way of knowing for certain. But there are a few things to remember: For every dollar that is paid in wages from this spending bill a certain percentage will come back to the government in income taxes. The same is true for cooperations. A percentage of the federal spending will be paid back to the federal movement in corporate taxes. And the same is true for materials purchased under the bill. Sales tax will be collected on materials used. Here is an example. The government awards. Contractor with a $1,000,000 contract to repair a road. The contractor buys asphalt and concrete. The people who harvest process and transport thee concrete all ge paid and all pay taxes. Then the contractor pays their crew to fix the road. The construction crew pays taxes on their wages. Sales tax is collected on all the materials. The point is, a spending bill like this does not just mean that our feds send money our with nothing coming back. It’s a cycle. People pay taxes, the government spends the money (hopefully wisely) the people earn money and pay taxes again. The Republicans traditional do the same kind of thing only they invest in limit art spending contracts rather than infrastructure contracts. Personally, I would rather have more police, safer roads and bridges than I would another warship of fleet of fighter jets.
