Webster MA
Description
Male, neutered, 4ish years old. We do not know his actual age. Indoor Only. There is a rehoming cost. Pickup ONLY in Webster MA I'll send him with a carrier, so you wont need one, but he doesnt have any other belongings. Very friendly, loves to lay on your lap and purr and always wants attention. Not really a fan of being picked up, but he tolerates it. Never attacked or bitten anyone. LOVES toys, he will play with just about anything he finds on the floor. I don't know how he is with children, but im sure he would be very tolerant of them. He will get along with kittens and female cats, but will NOT get along with any males over a year old. We took him in on a trial basis to see if he could get along with my older cat, who does get along with other cats and has been looking for a friend. Unfortunately despite our best bonding methods, they coexist, but it is putting stress on my older cat to have him hissing and randomly swatting at him. My older cat takes precedence over him, so we are finding him a permanent home. He gets along just fine with my dog. We use pine pellets from Tractor Supply for litter, since it doesnt smell or track around the house. I assume he probably used regular clay litter in his last home so he should be okay with either. He's never had an issue using the litter box. I believe he was due for his shots in December, so you'll need to get that done for him at your vet. We had a major loss in the family during that month so i had forgotten his appointment and then didn't think to reschedule it and it has slipped my mind since. Otherwise he is totally healthy, no issues at all. He was passed over to me in a parking lot, no carrier, covered in fleas, and the guy didn't say a single word to me. Just handed him over and got back in the car and left. So unfortunately i do not have any backstory on him other than he seemed pretty unloved previously. He obviously doesn't have fleas any more, he is at a healthy weight, and his fur is much softer. He meows a lot during dinner, or any time you step into the kitchen really lol. We feed raw here, so he is used to that, but he will really eat just about anything. He will also try to nibble on plants, so don't keep any toxic plants in his reach. I think that is about it. We will be sad to see him go, but it is for the best for him. Please let me know if you have any questions.
