​ 505-919-8222  Job Description: A brilliant Field supervisor is sought to manage and delegate workflow to field laborers, irrigation technicians and landscape installation workers. This is a full time year round, continuous position in a supportive work environment, offering stability, health- and retirement benefits after 9 months, Paid Time Off after 6 months, excellent pay, incentives.   Skills and Abilities: At least 2 years experience supervising a field installation crew, a minimum of 4 years experience in landscape installation, this experience wouldn't be substituted for landscape maintenance. Proficiency with landscape installation methods in all aspects of high end residential landscapes and their installation from planting large trees, installing irrigation systems, troubleshooting, managing quality control, various landscaping skills and techniques. Management and leadership skills to guide people to bring them to their most talented work, the ability to guide people to grow and develop in their job roles, to work with people continuously as they learn new skills and perform quality work, and the ability to bring patience, compassion and boldness to the workplace. Finally, the willingness and demonstrated ability to hire, fire and assign tasks, while maintaining, company policies and procedures at the forefront. Responsibilities and Duties: Assign work assignments to workers each morning starting at 7:15 am. Follow up assignments with guidance and performance checks to ensure that your team is supported to do their work, and to ensure quality standards are being implemented. -Provide accountability and delegation during overflow work, and deadline approaches. All work assigned includes various types of tasks as follows: 1. A task toward completion of project’s entire scope of work, 2. A task toward maintaining an orderly job site. 3. A task to provide materials to complete the scope of work involved in the project. Supervisors close out tasks and signs off on quality control sheets. -Supervisor shall be accountable for creating a project timeline, and completion deadline under which she will assign tasks to complete toward. And supervisors are accountable to project manager or company owner for project completion and reporting on timeline. -Also responsible for finances on each project as well as timeline. Supervisor shall utilize Project Management application to update the completion of tasks and completion of each milestone in a smart phone. Must have familiarity and ease of use with smartphone and applications. Supervisors are also accountable for correct clock-in and -out for their teams, health concerns for any individuals, and team members being on time daily. -Supervisors shall ensure that team is on site and at work, on time. Each member of the time is hers to be accountable for. Those who are late more than once will be fired. Those who do not show up will be fired. Supervisor is accountable for a smoothly running team, people are at work for their 8 hours with some task that is pertinent and relevant to the objectives of the company. Phone use is not allowed, for ANY REASON. Phones are used during lunch, or on a five minute break. -Supervisor is to review work schedules each morning beginning at 7:15. -Supervisor shall be present for Monday morning team meeting on time at 7:15 - 8:15 am, at times this meeting may extend to 8:30 am. -Supervisors are responsible for uploading receipts and job costs, labor hours and job progress to company cloud at the end of each day. Inventory once per month. -Supervisors are aware of safety procedures, safe loading and unloading and safe carrying for trees and heavy loads. Supevisor also takes and creates change orders, interacts with clients and takes direction. ​
