Open Road Radio, Inc is looking for exciting interns for our motorcycle talk radio show that is broadcasting on WCGO 1590 & 95.5 & FB LIVE and has just celebrated it’s 24th year on the air! Open Road Radio is the premiere Lifestyle Motorcycle Talk Show whose target is people with passion, love adventure and motorcycle riders or enthusiasts! So…. if you love motorcycles, if you listen to Open Road Radio each week, or if you simply want to know how to launch a radio show off the ground and gain valuable professional experience, then you are exactly what we need. What we are looking for: Open Road Radio has opportunities in the fields of promotions, sales/marketing, programming/asst. producing, production engineering, and opportunities in website illustration and daily updating! Promotions: Our promotions intern will help with events and event planning, set up remotes, distribute marketing materials, attend planning meetings and help coordinate events both locally and nationally. Sales/Marketing: This person will assist the sales and marketing staff with an assortment of duties related to radio sales and event sponsorship. Programming/Producer: This person must have good communications skills. This includes speaking with clients and celebrities and scheduling them for upcoming on air shows. Must travel to downtown Chicago for weekly Sunday night show and attend radio appearances. Production: This person must have good production skills, using programs like Cool Edit Pro, or similar audio editing programs. This person will have opportunities to voice commercials for air play and do script writing. Other production opportunities within the program Website Illustration and updater: This person will have full knowledge of website applications to improve and implement new ideas onto the ORR website in conjunction with working with our ORR webmaster.
