LAWS Currently has 2 Positions open: EMERGENCY VEHICLE TECH DECOM TECH DESCRIPTIONS: EMERGENCY VEHICLE TECH Emergency Vehicle Technicians are responsible for the installation, wiring, and programming of a wide variety of components. LAWS offers a Comprehensive 90 day in house training program. Techs need to have basic 12v Automotive Electrical and wiring experience and have a automotive mechanical background or foundation. Generally 1 to 3 years of Automotive Experience in various disciplines. DECOM TECH: DECOM TECHs Are Responsible for the removal and inventory and restoration of vehicles coming out of service and preparing them for auction. This is generally a more entry level position. EVT's Minimum Requirements: -VALID COLORADO DRIVERS LICENSE WITH CLEAN MVR FOR LAST 3 YEARS. -HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA / GED. -MUST BE ABLE TO PASS BASIC BACKGROUND AND DRUG SCREEN. -MUST POSSESS OWN TOOLS NEEDED TO PERFORM JOB. -MUST BE ABLE TO READ AND INTREPRET WIRING DIAGRAMS AND BUILD SHEETS. -MUST HAVE AN EXCEPTIONAL ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND BE ABLE TO WORK IN CONFINED AND AWKWARD POSITIONS. -MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT UP TO 40 POUNDS AND HAVE NORMAL VISION, AND HEARING.
