We are hosting a charity bike ride to raise money for autism and disabilities on July 30th. We are looking for individuals to help with any bike issues at the event. The individual would be responsible for helping to fix minor bike issues such as changing flat tires, adjusting seats, aligning brakes, etc. The average mechanic helps with ~10 issues throughout the event day. We would prefer an individual that has their own vehicle to drive during the event, but we can place the individual in a car with a volunteer if needed. We will provide any pumps, tubes, tires, or materials needed. We encourage the individual to bring any personal tools that they prefer to use. Experience working in a bike shop and/or participating in cycling events is preferred. The event is July 30th and the route goes from DC to Dewey Beach, DE. We would need the individual to be available from 4:30am-4:00pm
