WAREHOUSE PACKER FOR CLUBCU-BLAXSAND (CLUBCU WHS 111 HODGIN ST. HIGH POINT, NC) Warehouse Picker/Packer REPORTS TO: Larry Rine STARTING SALARY: $12 an hour PURPOSE: To pull furniture and accessories, prep and pack for shipping. Complete orders according to company standards. Maintain a clean working environment and complete all tasks assigned by management. Essential Duties: • Pulling the correct furniture pieces and accessories based on their item number • Cleaning, waxing, and assemble items for boxing • Make precise measurements on cartons, crates and pallets • Use of proper packaging based on the item. Boxing, crating or palletizing • Proper weight and dims (if required) documented on order and box, crate or pallet • Unload of container arrivals • Loading the correct boxes, crates and pallets for the correct freight carrier • Checking the BOL's and boxes for the correct freight carrier before loading. Proper count • Moving of furniture is a safe matter • Use of all warehouse tools. Including but not limited to forklift, hand truck, pallet jacks and dollies • Maintains supply inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; notifying supervisor of the supplies that need to be purchased • Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results • Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies • Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources • Verifies specifications by measuring completed component • Work in a team environment • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations • Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs • Documents all actions on orders • Set up and clean up for bi annual trade show • Perform other duties as assigned by manager After 90 days you will be entitled to paid holidays as well as eligible for insurance and paid time off.
