We make time for outdoor play whenever possible and enjoy educational videos during lunch. Currently, we are watching "The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones." We already have lots of art supplies and board games on hand which we look forward to sharing with you. One wall of our classroom is dedicated to a timeline that we add to as we study history. There are also many math manipulatives and a spare computer in case you forget yours. We make frequent trips to local book boxes to keep our library fresh. We currently use IXL as our base curriculum, but we do a lot of extra things too including: reading novels, writing essays, conducting science experiments, cooking, playing spelling games, and recently, performing a one act play. When time allows, we also work in a little Spanish and music appreciation. Occasionally, Annabelle the cat makes an appearance, but she usually sleeps all day. We love our little classroom, but we are getting a bit lonely. Won't you join us?
