Preservation Partners Management Group is looking for a Part-Time Groundskeeper for for one of our communities in Vancouver, Washington. This position is Part-Time, 20 hours per week, Monday thru Friday from 8am to 12pm daily. Position: The Groundskeeper reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and will oversee all aspects of cleaning the grounds, trash pickup, cleaning the common areas, cleaning the laundry rooms, and other duties as assigned. • Striping the parking lot as needed with provided equipment • Perform routine lighting checks and replacing light bulbs as needed • Assist with installing beauty bark, and preforming minimal weeding as needed • Understand and complies with Fair Housing Laws and standards (training is provided) • Attention to detail and a self-starter • Effective communicator and problem solving skills Qualifications (representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required): • Availability – 5 day work week; schedule will be 8am-12pm Monday through Friday with additional hours available when needed. Travel to sister sites may be required at times occasionally for support. • Physical Demands - While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. • Must have a valid driver's license Compensation: • $18/hour + PTO and growth potential • 24 hours of sick time per year and 11 paid holidays off The applicant must pass a pre-employment/post offer background check, and have a valid driver's license.
