Classic rock cover band reforming after COVID 19 challenges. Desired line up will be 2 guitarists who will share lead and rhythm duties, bassist, percussionist /drummer and myself on keyboards (multiple keyboards), rhythm guitar and saxophones. Band's repertoire has always been extensive and diversified, ranging from surf era (Beach Boys, Ventures, Surfaris) thru both British Invasions (Beatles, Stones, Kinks) thru 70's psychedelic (Steppenwolf, Deep Purple, Doors) thru 80's, 90' and 2000's. Then throw in some blues, R&B and soul (Booker T & the MGs, Sam & Dave, Wilson Pickett, Eddie Floyd, Temptations). The only 2 qualifiers for song selection is that it is dance-able and we can play it well. Orchestration and volume control are everything. Vocal ability, either lead or backing, is a plus but not a show-stopper. Everyone gets a turn in the spotlight as there are no "stars" or "solo act" here. There is no "I" in the word "TEAM"! "Practice" is done at home where you work out the riffs and chord changes via the lead sheets and MP3s which I will provide. "Rehearsal" is where all of the parts are put together and smoothed. Studio at my residence in Warminster (lower Bucks County PA) has backline in place, hence no expense for a rehearsal studio or lost time setting up and breaking down. Playing the club scene is OK for having our friends see us play, but the real money is in private affairs. $250 or better per player is better that $40 or $50 and having to hear the gin mill owner whine and try to renegotiate the pay at the end of the night. Please... no frontmen/women or harp only players. If you contacted me previously just as the COVID hit and are still interested, please contact me again now that we are past that hurdle.
