Intact but heat cycles are almost silent, doesn't bleed or swell up for the most part (there's one day of very slight swelling but that's about it). Timid but very sweet once she bonds with you. About 6 years old, one of her old homes abused her very badly. Takes her a minute to warm up to you. Not mean. Loves soft beds, pets, and for you to talk to her in a baby voice. Very good surrogate, she will nurse and take care of ANYTHING. Last owners said she was a very good hunter, too. I don't hunt, I can't say. Must go to a very good home with other dogs
