Seeking Seasoned Musicians To Form Band

Traditional/Classic Country male vocalist looking to form an all male country/western band/group (think Ernest Tubb and his Texas Troubadours or Bob Wills and his Texas Playboys). The name of the band/group will be "Tucker Morgan and The Haystack Boys". I am mainly a vocalist but do play some basic rhythm guitar. I have acquired a "free of charge" rehearsal venue that will also book regular paying gigs with the band/group here in Powell, Tennessee. I am also a songwriter (lyrics, chords and melody. I do not write or create musical arrangements). I am seeking the following musicians: 1. Lead Guitar 2. Pedal Steel Guitar 3. Bass (stand up bass preferred) 4. Drummer 5. Keyboard One or more of the above needs to be able to also play the banjo and or fiddle (some songs will require these instruments). Must be able to sing back-up vocals and/or harmonies. All musicians are required to have all their own equipment (Mics, Amps, Etc.) If seriously interested, please reply via email here and please put what instrument you play in the subject line. Please also include first and last name and what area you are in. Looking for local (in Knoxville or close enough by to travel to the rehearsal venue which is in powell. Must be willing to travel for gigs if need be. As for what the band will wear when performing, again take a look at the groups mentioned above or similar country/western groups of the 50's & 60's. Since these groups had a few different looks, from all musicians having matching shirts, neck scarfs, cowboy hats and jeans/pants and the lead vocalist in the same or with opposite colors in the shirt and neck scarf, this is something that will be decided once the band/group is formed.
