Butterfly World is located inside a County Park, in the city of Coconut Creek, Florida. Established in 1988, we are the first butterfly facility in the western hemisphere and the largest butterfly and bird park in the world! Butterfly World is seeking a part-time bird care attendant to join our team, working within our 3+ acre attraction! Butterfly World seeks an outgoing, "all-around performer", who also enjoys birds. This person must be a good communicator and enjoy talking to people from all over the world. Spend your days working with birds and sharing what you know, delighting guests of all ages! Job requirements: • High School Diploma required • Great communication skills and ability to work as part of a team • Completes all established duties promptly • Good physical condition • Willingness and ability to work outdoors, including weekends and holidays • Maintaining and trimming small trees/foliage in bird aviaries. • Bilingual in English and Spanish, a plus, but not necessary • Must pass a background check and drug test Please apply in person at Butterfly World, 3600 W.
