Kevin a a 2-year-old, 65-pound possible Plott Hound mix. He’s come to the shelter as a stray so we are still getting to know him. We have no history prior to his arrival. He seems to do well with other dogs his size in play groups and is good with the staff and volunteers at the shelter. He can use some work with his leash and basic training but is getting some help from volunteers. We don’t know if he’s house trained but he does seem to be kennel trained. At this time we would say no to very young children and he’s not been cat tested so no cats or small critters. He’s got average energy for his guesstimated breed/age. He is currently in Fort Worth, TX but can make the trek to Olympia, WA scheduled to arrive on Saturday April 10th with a pre-adoption which is the only way to secure that he will for sure go home with you! Pre-Adoption means getting your app in, approved and paying the adoption fee to secure the ride. His adoption fee is $450 which covers his neuter, vaccinations, HW testing, chipping, health certificate and transport fees.
