Baseline requirement is to be covid vaccinated by job start date (July). We have elderly family who are health compromised. If you are willing to be vaccinated, please read on: Looking for a nanny from July to December. Our wonderful nanny is leaving at the end of June and we’re looking for a new nanny for our 4.5 month old starting after July 4th weekend till the end of the year. We are open to a more long term contract if we do find a really good fit. The job is Monday - Friday from 8AM - 4PM. As for responsibilities, he’s a fairly chill baby and it’s just the usual baby-care. Feeding, bathing, changing, putting to sleep, etc. Aside from that, we are looking for someone who definitely loves children. Our son is growing and changing everyday, and we’re looking for someone who really engages with him. Our current nanny adores him and it shows. She sings songs to him, reads him stories, and actively works with him to achieve all his milestones. For example, right now he’s working on sitting up unassisted - so she works with him everyday to practice that. We’re also looking for our nanny to do some cooking and light housework. There’s a lot of down time as the baby takes hours long naps on a pretty regular basis, and none of the tasks are particularly time consuming. Our current nanny cooks 2-3 recipes a week for us, swiffers the floors, wipes tables/counters, vacuums the living room and does laundry all while the baby sleeps and still has ample breaks during the day. We also need our nanny to do simple errands - making phone calls, picking up groceries, nothing particularly difficult. We're open to any age or gender as well as limited or no experience with newborns, the most important thing to us is that our nanny is committed to learn the ropes on what’s best for our son. We are open to live-in or live-out, nanny would have their own private bedroom and bathroom if they choose live-in. Pay is to be discussed and just depends on experience and what adjustments we need to make due to live-in. Oh, we also have a dog and a tabby kitten - they're both very socialized - just an FYI.
