Description
Four person (2 men+ 2 women) team challenge.
Event 1: LOAD
Relay style loading medley for time. 12-stone series (3 per athlete) to be picked, travel a distance and then load over an axle bar. One athlete works at a time. When athlete 1 completes the 3rd stone load they return to the line and tag athlete 2 to begin. This will continue until athlete 4 crosses back over the line. Weights and travel distance announced later.
Event 2: THROW
Throw for team max distance. Pick up the tire and throw it as far as you can. You get two attempts per teammate. Furthest throw counts toward team total. You'll have an 8ft circle to take an approach. Any form is good, as long as it happens within the 8 ft circle.
Event 3: LIFT
Deadlift for a team max weight. 20 minutes to establish your teams max deadlift - that's 5 minutes per person. 1 athlete works at a time. Unlimited attempts in 20 minutes.
Teams will rotate through events 1-3. Once all teams have completed events 1-3, teams will line up to start event 4.
Event 4: RUN
5k relay course for time. We don't care who runs how far, or where the hand offs occur. Everyone on the team MUST participate; you strategize as a team and figure out the best path forward.
