Why is it so hard to get along with people anymore. They are so angry and untrusting. Maybe it is because all the liars who say anything to get what they want. No concern for others at all. No matter how free and easy it may seem. Absolutely nothing is free. The cost of hurting people may not be immediately billed to your account. It has been to the ones you have taken advantage of. People may forget and/or forgive you but they never ever forget how you made them feel. One day when you are at your most vulnerable or someone is in the position to make a difference in your life, you may be on the other end of your lies. When you are devastated by your payback, you will remember the trusting people that you have hurt and have a more tender heart than yours. Maybe you can forget and forgive but you will never forget how you made them feel.
