Drop in for half an hour and paint a pair of metal or wood earrings for Mother's Day. Drop in for a quick and easy class and make mom a handmade, beautiful Mother's Day gift! You will have a selection of paints to choose from as well as a pair of wooden earrings or metal earrings. The cost for this drop-in is for one pair of earrings. If you'd like to make more during your half hour slot, there will be an additional fee of $25 per pair of earrings. If you would like your earrings to stay and dry and have Kathleen seal them for a longer life, you can leave your earrings behind and pick them up on Saturday between 5pm - 7pm or Sunday between 12pm - 2pm. If you choose a Sunday slot and would like yours left to be dried and sealed, earrings will be available for a Wednesday pickup between 12pm - 6pm. About the instructor:Kathleen recently opened up her own jewelry store with her daughter Sophie in Downtown Portsmouth called Rage Gems & Jewelry. Kathleen began making jewelry back in the early 2000s as she had two children under the age of two and she needed a hobby to help keep her sane. After many failed attempts at crafts such as crochet, mosaics, etc. she found that jewelry making was a perfect fit and hasn't stopped since. She lived in Brooklyn NY for eight years and when there, she opened up a bead store and taught classes. Her jewelry has been seen on many celebrities during those years. It's her form of therapy and highly recommends it to anyone with rage issues. This is for a private class. If you have another member in your household who would like to take this class with you, this can be arranged. Student and instructor will remain masked during the 1-hour class and remain socially distanced. Instructor takes a weekly COVID test and takes COVID precautions seriously.
