Description
Hello.
I have a gecko named Squeak that I got a few years ago that needs special attention when taking care of him. It is not a problem if he is your only reptile, but it can be deadly if not taken seriously. It does not affect his own health personally as he is a great weight and eats well. He is suspected of being asymptomatic for the parasitic reptile disease known as cryptosporidiosis.
While he does not display any of the symptoms for the disease, it can be transferred to another reptile through transfer through breeding or any contact with anything that he has touched or had in his enclosure for a period of time. Proper measures must be done in between handling any equipment that you used after touching him, his enclosure, or any of his waste that he has also come into contact with or produced.
That being said, when managed and keeping him as a pet only reptile, he is an interesting little lizard with a scary appetite. If you have experience with this and would like to take on the task of having Squeak as a pet, he is free to a home that can prove that they have the experience and the enclosure for him. He is also porch pickup only at this time due to car issues. Thank you so much for making it this far in the read!
