Cartello Wine Pairing Dinner
We are thrilled to partner with Mission Grape to host this wine dinner as a homecoming for Craig Lewis--an upstate Native, former professional cyclist turned co-owner and producer of Cartello Wine. This project was born from friendships within the wine industry and as an extension, or second label, of Mila Family Vineyards. Estate Grown, biodynamic wine from Alexander Valley. Craig is introducing these high quality and affordable wines for the first time in his hometown.
Craig Kuhns, our very own Culinary Director has created an exquisite dinner pairing to perfectly compliment each with each wine.
We will begin the evening with a welcome glass of champagne followed by:
1st Course | Carignan | Quail / cured tomatoes / farro risotto / green onion
2nd Course| Shiraz | Lamb sugo/ pappardelle / herbs / green tomato
3rd Course| Cabernet Sauvignon | Hanger steak / balsamic / black pepper / rapini
4th Course| Revisit your favorite wine | Asher blue & blueberry cheese dessert
We are honored to have Cartello owner Craig Lewis joining us to educate and answer any questions.
Cost for this event is $85/person. No refunds or credit if cancelled within 48 hours of event. Please notify us at sign up if you have any allergies.
We will be taking all precautions in regards to COVID-19 during the classes. Kitchen is completely sanitized before each class, the chef and staff are required to wear masks. Hand washing stations are located throughout the kitchen and it is large enough to allow for appropriate social distancing.
