Essential Functions Benefits Full-time, salaried position. Salary range $65,000 to $75,000 annually depending on experience. The Warehouse Manager must be driven, organized and a good problem solver while managing warehouse personnel with: Shipping Receiving Inventory control Enforcement of Safety Standards Labeling Quality Control Enforcement of Company Policies and Procedures Responsibilities The Candidate must take pride in their work, be a forward thinker, self-starter and capable of a high level of multitasking Manage a team of warehouse personnel including planning, assigning and directing work Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training employees as well as rewarding, disciplining, addressing complaints and resolving problems with direction from upper management Must be able to communicate effectively with employees and enforce company policies and procedures on a daily basis Ensure high level of customer service and on-time delivery of quality products Perform shipping and receiving duties May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness, cleanliness, safety, and efficiency at all times Wear the proper safety equipment and clothing Communicate daily with customer service reps at main office via email and/or phone Perform Stockroom Clerk duties Label and/or down pack products Ensure proper storage of products Unload trucks and safely move product via forklift if necessary Manage personnel of Hazardous Materials handling and enforce safety standards Read work orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed via the appropriate computer program Assist in counting physical inventory Skills Strong leadership skills Customer service a priority Hardworking and dependable team player Documentation skills Inventory Control Equipment Maintenance Must be able to handle multiple projects and multitask Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Organizational skills Professional appearance and demeanor a must Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing Required Experience * 3 to 5 years of warehouse management experience * Understands quality control and assurance on a daily basis * Ability to demonstrate the highest level of honesty, integrity and respect for all employees * Must be able to pass Security/Background check * Must have own transportation to work * Valid CA driver’s license a must * Forklift certified Desired Experience * Class A Driver with Hazmat endorsement a plus * Knowledge of Chemicals a plus * Hazmat training a plus * Military experience a plus * Bachelor’s Degree a plus
