Chicago based Beatles Tribute Band seeks keyboardist to perform in a touring tribute show that recreates a live Beatles concert complete with full production, costuming, special effects and multimedia. The band accurately portrays the Beatles in all eras of their music including the Ed Sullivan, Sgt. Pepper and Abbey Road eras. Performing shows year round mainly on weekends for both out of town and local Chicago dates. General Description: A Beatles Tribute Keyboardist is able to perform and emulate all eras of the Beatles music accurately, provide percussion support and assist with the setting up and breaking down of the equipment. The position requires the keyboardist to read sheet music and proficiently perform on an 88 key controller keyboard setup. The position requires a flexible schedule that is able to accommodate the band's touring and rehearsal schedule. A Beatles Keyboardist is offered an excellent opportunity to gain invaluable experiences in the field of performing, theatrical stage experience and stage operations in a touring company. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Accurately and consistently executing the classic Beatles keyboard sounds. Ability to read sheet music Utilizing an 88 key programmed keyboard provided by the band. Provide supporting percussion sounds including tambourine, hand claps, cowbell, shakers and bongos. Assisting the band with equipment setup/breakdown. Special projects and other duties as assigned. Position Specifications: Previous keyboard experience in a professional situation is a plus. Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced live stage environment are important. Excellent communication skills responding to emails and phone calls promptly. Required to be available for the band's touring and rehearsal schedule. Willingness to travel for out of town dates. Applicant should have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
