Description

Itzala, pronounce e-zawla, I frequently call her boo, needs to rehome to a quiet place with no other animals or children. Itzala’s past: In September I took Itzala and another cat in from the same owner because they claimed they could no longer care for them. Rightly so, they were completely neglected; underweight, unspayed, no vaccines, ear mites, and some fleas. These two cats have progressively grown to loathe eachother and its very distressing for myself so it’s time to rehome her so she can receive the love she deserves. My other cat has become increasingly possesive and I think thats the root cause of the fighting between them. They arent aggressive cats towards me at all so don’t worry! Itzala’s personality: she’s intelligent and agile. She LOVES high and low places to perch or hide. She will want to sleep at your feet when it’s bedtime. I know I would have grown closer with her and her personality would have flourished more so if the other wasn’t around but it will definitely take her some time to warm up to you. I’ve noticed she gets over stimulated when I pet her for too long or too hard. Her tail will shake vigorously and then that’s when she needs a break from physical touch. She fended for herself for her upbringing so I feel like she just doesn’t know how to react to love properly. And it doesn’t help when she’s attacked by my other cat when I do give her love too. She really is a sweet cat that just wants love and I know she will flourish being the only one in the home. I know this because I took my other cat to the vet for the gday and it was like Itzala was a different more serene cat. She loves her hammock perched on the window to watch birds and sleep. She loves to play too! There are certain toys that I’d like to rehome her with. I currently feed her Stella & Chewy’s Raw Blend 1/2 a cup a day. She would do fine with self feeding as she already eats through out the day and doesn’t over eat at all. She’s pretty small. Like 7-8lbs. And omg soooooo soft😭!!! All I ask from you is to confirm you have no other pets or children in the home. She came from a chaotic home with children before me (from my observations) so this is a deal breaker. I will ask for pictures of the home and I’d like to check in a month later to see how she’s doing with you. If you think its not working I can give you your money back and find her another home! Rehoming fee: $100. She is spayed, up to date with vaccines, and very healthy! I will gift the hammock, some toys, and a carrier if needed! Text for a faster reply! Thanks!
