3 G’s Hay & Grain is hiring a Feed Store warehouse employee and delivery driver. Enjoy working in the sunshine between Arcata and sunny Blue Lake. RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES: Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Greeting customers and promptly addressing their wants and needs Advising customers on purchase options Stocking and cleaning the store Exhibit an ability to get along with others Practice punctual and reliable attendance Deliver feed store products and/or equipment to customers when assigned Performing other duties as assigned JOB REQUIREMENTS: Possess a valid driver’s license and valid insurance in good standing Physical ability to stand for extended periods; bend, stoop and kneel frequently Lift, carry and load 60 pounds (minimum) weight requirements Proven track record of being dependable and reliable Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with co-workers and customers Strong organizational, multi-tasking, problem-solving, and analytical skills Commitment to excellent customer service Product knowledge in one or more of the following areas is a bonus (not required): feed, seed, soil, farming, pet food & supplies, horse/equine, hardware, fencing, lawn & garden supplies, animal health, tack, clothing & footwear, or wild bird supplies. SCHEDULE: This is a part time to full time position depending on your availability (schedule may vary). We are open Monday through Sunday. Must be available to work weekends.
