The driver position is responsible for safely operating vehicles and transporting engine parts and engines in the Denver Metro area. The essential functions of the position include but are not limited to the job responsibilities outlined below. Report to work on time. Maintain a strong attendance record. Possess a valid Colorado Driver License and a clean driving record. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Possess a knowledge of the Denver Metro area. Daily schedule of pickup and deliveries, collecting payment on delivery as required. Review schedule prior to leaving the shop to clarify any schedule, route, address or special need information. Responsible for proficiency and safety in operating all assigned vehicles. In addition to driver duties, it is expected that the driver will perform work around the shop which includes cleaning duties (emptying trash, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, etc.) and assisting with shelving parts in the warehouse. Responsible for cleanliness on both the inside and the outside of the shop and shop vehicles. Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements Must possess a valid Colorado Driver License. Must possess and be able to maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record. Must have a reliable work history with strong attendance and punctuality records. Must have a neat and clean appearance and a sincere desire to work.
