Experienced Pedal Steel Guitarist Seeks Locally Gigging Country Band. I’ve been playing for many years, and am dependable, flexible, versatile, and easy going. I also play rhythm, a little lead and bass as well, so I can fill a utility role in a band if needed. I am looking for a gigging band that I can “blend” into, rather than starting something new from scratch. Influences include (but not limited to) George Jones, Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Buck Owens, and most other “traditional” Country artists. I’ve also played the range from “modern” Country to “hard-core” Country and Country/Rock, Oldies, Classic Rock, Blues, etc. Having fun and maybe making a few bucks in a “team” environment would be a good thing as well.
