Kaufman Downhome Construction is a small local handyman and remodeling company that is seeking someone to fill a Carpenter Assistant position. The position does not require carpentry experience, but experience is preferred. Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools preferred. The position duties include but are not limited to; material handling, using hand and power tools, sheetrock, framing, demo, cleaning etc. Our projects are located in and around Moundridge including Goessel, McPherson, Galva, Hesston, and Newton etc. Applicants must have drivers license and means of transportation to get to and from jobsites. Base starting pay rate is $12/hr, but will be adjusted depending on knowledge and experience. Please respond to the posting with your name, contact information, and experience.
