Guitar, bass and other stringed instrument player with a lot of original material I'd like to start forming into an album, and I need a strong lyricist and vocalist to work with me. I have done significant work putting "drafts" together in Cubase, including guitar, bass and drum tracks (I can program drums). We'll eventually need a drummer, but my priority is lyrics/vocals right now. I'm 49 if age matters.
I've played guitar since I was eight, played in multiple bands over the years, and have studio recording experience. I'm serious about putting this together, and I know how to do it - especially with some other mature talent.
Genre is what I would consider "new guitar rock." I don't listen to much music any more, so while this is rock, I've intentionally lost the 80s and 90s guitar feel. I got sick of not having any new guitar rock that's fun to learn, so these songs have been written with strong consideration of what I would want to learn if I were on the other end today.
