Need mechanic to rebuild carburetor on Chevy S-10

Garageman says mixture filter is bad and need to rebuild carburetor. 1983 Chevy S-10 2.8 l V6 pickup. Lacks power going up hill. I will pay for carb rebuild kit if you can tell me which one to buy. Garage will charge as much as truck is worth, so am looking for affordable deal on labor cost.
