Description
guitar player and songwriter here seeking likeminded musicians for collaboration. It would be cool to find a female or nonbinary bassist or drummer who can sing/play/collaborate on the writing, but open to anyone. I can sing backup. I envision this as a three piece, four on the floor, kinda brash, fun live band but that could change depending on who I find - if you only sing that's cool too!
I'm grown - 38 with a kid but serious about music (it's my career). I've had a good amount of success professionally in the past, from touring bands to film composition, but I'm really missing the experience of playing live and loud, especially after the last year. I produce as well. We don't have to have the same music tastes, but bands I'm kinda thinking about as reference points for this project - buzzcocks, yeah yeah yeahs, the clash, hole, pixies, the cars, smashing pumpkins, st. vincent, toadies, ani difranco, tom petty, ty segall, weezer, the police, brian eno
I wrote and demo'd something yesterday (forgive the quality). check it out and if you feel like you vibe with it and would maybe want to write/record something together send me a message. if you're a drummer, I'm including a version without the shitty programmed drums I put in too. 86bpm
