She is a very friendly dog unless you take her food. Very protective. She does have the hunting desire and tries to walk up the tree after a squirrel s. Barks and stands at the base of the tree. She has an odd behavior however. When she is outside tied up we give her container of water. Any animal or trash near her water she pushes by her nose into the bucket. frogs she puts in the bucket are still alive. Initially I thought the frog jumped into the water but after releasing him over and over I watched the dog through a window pick the frog up by her nose. She sniffs EVERYTHING and very verbal. We stopped keeping her outside because neighbors complained about her barking at everything that moves. She is house trained and whines to go outside. Very very smart. Easily trainable. She has had no puppies. She is 100% hound dog. Half blue tick and half walker. She needs exercise and space to run. If you would like to have her please contact me. She is free. Now here's the negative. She loves people food and almost an unnatural love of people food. If you drop food and she sees it she will hide the food and guard it until no one is around. If you see her and she's on a blanket and goes into the defensive stance she is hiding food. She will wait all day guarding it until no one around then she eats plastic and all. If you keep a wrapper around that smells like food she will eat it if you try to take it from her she gobbles up the plastic. I bribe her with cereal. Tell her sit and stay then throw cereal all around her then tell her go ahead and she abandons the wrapper. I stopped buying bones too after she became 100% inside dog. Guards and hides them too.
