Description

Looking for a fun garage band situation. No pressure. In my 50's, retired. Former drummer, good rhythm. Been playing electric bass for about 4 years. Understand major and minor pentatonic scales and chords. I practice on my own so that jam sessions go smoother. I still goof up but I will hone in on my mistakes to correct for next jam. Not perfect, but improving. Honest, reliable and mature. I've been practicing with a drum machine, metronome, backing tracks, and friends. Covers of rock, country rock, alt country, classic rock, classic country - Neil Young, Led Zeppelin, Grateful Dead, Waylon, Willie, Warren Zevon, Son Volt, CCR, John Prine, Merle, Stones, The Band, Buck Owens, Steve Earle. I don't have any interest in playing rap, new country, country rap. I love bluegrass. It would be cool to be in a situation to learn from bandmates and maybe eventually play out for folks. Alcohol and weed is ok, but don't get impaired. Any questions, please ask. I love open and honest communication. Reply by email. Thanks!
